Individual counselling with adults for problems such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem, stress, burn out, grief or loss, work-place issues.
Couple counselling for communication issues, recovery from infidelity, and relationship enhancement. I aim to create a non-judgmental, fair, and safe environment for expression of disappointments, anger, hopes, and change.
The strategies I use include Cognitive Behaviourial Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness. Confidentiality is part of a therapist's code of ethics, as is privacy. I will refer a client to other mental health or community services if required or requested by the client(s).
